There is an interesting event at Sussex Uni this week, open to all staff, students, alumni and the external business community - it is FREE. 'Enterprise Thursday' will feature Tony and Judie Ellis, founders of Conceptioneering Ltd - they are innovative inventors and developers of many successful games and toys. Conceptioneering's client list includes some major toy, game and gift manufacturers with big names like Tomy Mattel, Ragdoll, and Ravensburger marketing their concepts and technology across the world. Conceptioneering toys and games can be found lining dozens of pages of the Argos magazine toy section. They have a specialist understanding of product development and brand creation, and have created a number of successful brands including the fantastic Cube World, Talk Pro, SkipMate, Talkie Chalkie, Bin Buddies and Blowberry Bears.
At the event Tony and Judie will be talking about how they set up their business, the ups and downs they've had, and what lies in store for them. As well as this they'll be taking questions from the audience so do bring some along. Their talk will also feature AIMEC (Artificial Intelligent Mechanical Electronic Companion). AIMEC is a Conceptioneering Ltd creation and they will be demonstrating how it works and what it can do!
The event takes place in BSMS on campus (Medical School) this Thursday (26th Nov) starting at 5.30pm. For more information and to register please go here www.sussex.ac.uk/enterprise
